Section 5
Prohibited Activities within National Parks or Reserves
: (1) No person shall perform the following activities within a National Park or Reserve without obtaining written permission from the authorized officer :-
(a) to hunt wild animals or to transport game,
(b) to build or occupy a house, shed, shelter or other form of any material,
(c) to occupy, clear, cultivate, cultivate or grow or harvest any land,
(d) To graze or water domestic animals or birds,
(e) to cut, fell, remove, cut or any work to dry the forest produce or to set fire or otherwise cause damage or to transport the forest produce,
(f) to mine, pit or remove any mineral matter, pit, slag, soil or other similar matter,
(g) to cause damage to forest produce or wild animals, birds or land,
(h) to carry or use arms, ammunition or poison,
(h) carrying domestic animals or other animals or pets by others than Government servants on duty or travelers on the roads in use within the National Park or Reserve, and
(N): To stop, divert or use any harmful or explosive substances in any river, stream or water source flowing within the national park or reserve.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1) without adversely affecting the environment, forest or wildlife, the facilities of roads, irrigation channels, drinking water, irrigation and embankments that have been traditionally used in the parks or reserves as prescribed according to the nature of the national park or reserve. (3) If a family in the middle area is affected by a disaster and needs forest produce and from any place in the middle area, Section above.
